Jen: Going into the conversation, how were you feeling about sharing your story on Ticking Junction?
Jameel: Honestly I was a bit hesitant at first i’ve discussed with people about my business journey but not the ins and outs and emotional journey.
Jen: What were you expecting the conversation to be like before you came on?
Jameel: I had no expectations to be honest, you sent some questions through for me to review but I wanted to be genuine going into it and didn’t read them ahhaha.
Jen: Was there a question that caught you off guard or took you somewhere you weren’t expecting?
Jameel: No.
Jen: Was there a moment where you found yourself thinking, “I haven’t thought about that in a long time”?
Jameel: All of the interview I was thinking that, I haven’t had much time to reflect on the journey I have been on because its been so hectic so I really enjoyed going through it all.
Jen: What part of your story was the hardest or most vulnerable to talk about?
Jameel: My parents, I hold my parents very near and dear to my heart and appreciate them so much so talking about them is always emotional.
Jen: Did talking through your journey make you realise anything about yourself that you hadn’t really recognised before?
Jameel: It made me realise I am a machine it instilled a lot of confidence back into myself hahah.
Jen: Was there anything you were hoping I wouldn’t ask you about?
Jameel: No.
Jen: What do you think people might be surprised to learn about you from this episode?
Jameel: A lot of people that know me see me as a happy jolly guy who doesn’t take life too serious, I think a lot of people will be surprised to learn how much of a critical thinker I am and how ambitious I am.
